On 29th March, 2019, WHBC Executive Principal Samantha and the Head of School Counseling department Jessica were invited to Shanghai to attend the annual Chinese key middle schools Presidents Annual Forum Principal Forum. Harvard Shanghai Center was lead established by Harvard Business School and Harvard China Fund. It is designed to provide quality resources to all Harvard faculty, students and alumni, as well as to enhance collaboration between Harvard University faculty and Chinese Universities, organization, governments. The forum discussed the data of Chinese students studying abroad and returning, the choices and preparations that students face before they study abroad, and the high school students and schools to do a good balance. In order to better train students in all aspects of development, the organizing committee specially invited Mr. Huang Shujun, a guest of the entertainment industry, and Ms. Huang Ying, a famous soprano singer, to discuss “cross-border” with the principals.

In view of our school's support for the activities of the Shanghai Harvard Center, the Harvard Center awarded WHBC the New Model School and awarded the trophy. They hoped to maintain closer exchanges and cooperation with our school.
