On November 26, the Wuhan City Student 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament sparked excitement across the city as more than forty teams gathered to compete and pursue basketball glory.

Representing Qiaokou District, WHBC’s basketball team—comprised of students Zhang Zhiyi (901), Zhou Kaiwen (804), Wu Haoyu (804), Guo Zixuan (801), Zheng Xinyang (707), and He Chengrui (701)—brought resilience and skill to the court, showcasing the spirit of WHBC students.

In this single-elimination tournament, every match was a test of grit. The WHBC team advanced to the quarterfinals with three consecutive victories, thanks to their technical skill and excellent teamwork. Each moment on the court was exhilarating—each sprint, each jump, and each shot reflected their passion for basketball and their dedication to their dreams. While they didn’t claim the championship, their exceptional performance earned applause from the crowd and marked a historic achievement for Qiaokou District: 7th place in Wuhan City!

Though the tournament has concluded, the basketball dreams of WHBC students continue to burn bright. Their resilience and courage not only made history for Qiaokou District but also created unforgettable memories in their youth. We look forward to seeing these young athletes climb even higher as they continue their journey with determination and passion.
